The relatively unpronounceable Räjäyttäjät formed on 6 January, 2011 in Jyväskylä, Finland. Räjäyttäjät means exploders/blasters/demolition experts or something like that in Finnish, but people call them Räjä. Räjäyttäjät räjäyttää!! (the first 7" vinyl) just came out in time for New Year, 2012, and they are still exploding live to this day, wherever their services are needed.

(the first 7" vinyl) just came out in time for New Year, 2012, and they are still exploding live to this day, wherever their services are needed.
RÄJÄYTTÄJÄT are Alex Reed (drums, vox), Jukka Nousiainen (lead vox, guitar), and Mikko Siltanen (bass, vox). Although their names have also been Muuni, Bäddäd Reed, Sisse, Rock Siltanen, Rapa, and Villisika among others. The personnel have nonetheless remained the same.
First releases were on cassette: "Räjä & Roll All Night Long" and "Jytä Menot Päällä. There then followed a cassette single in May, 2012 (Räjäkevät), and a CDr Single (Räjä'n'roll/Ei hauskaa) in October to annoy record collectors yet further. The first vinyl LP, "Räjäyttäjät!", was finally released in January, 2013 on Dead Beat Records in the US with much of the material that had been formerly on cassette. Later the same year Räjä records was formed to release their 2nd vinyl LP ("Awopbopaloopop AlopbämRÄJÄ") in Finland with previously unreleased tracks. A year later Loopop was also released on Bat Shit Records in the US. It contains, among other great songs, "Ei hauskaa":

A second 7" ("Räjäyttäjät tulee taas") was released once more in the US, but this time on White Denim Records in March, 2014. In November, Räjäyttäjät released their 5th album (3rd on vinyl), called "Rock'n'roll Painajainen". The last 2 LPs are also available on CD from the Ektro label in Finland.
